It was breed to be good for Family Pet, Sports, The Alaskan Malamute lifestyle is Prefer outdoor living, ready to join in almost any athletic activity; if bored, will express displeasure by howling and digging to the South Pole!
The Alaskan Malamute is susceptible to hip dysplasia, chondrodysplasia and eye problems. It is important that when contacting a Alaskan Malamute breeder that you express health concern issues and ask the breeder what they are doing in order to help mimimize them.
