Character: Irish Wolfhounds are friendly, gentle, loyal, and calm.

Temperment: This dog gets along well with children, other dogs, and any household pets. There will be no problems provided early socialization has taken place.

Coat: Is rather unkempt-looking, cough, coarse and hard. Can be plain white, brown, black, red, or grey.

Care Regular grooming with a brush and comb is required. Twice a year, dead hair will need to be plucked from the coat.

Colour: Gray, brindle, red, black, pure white, fawn

Comments: A quality retriever in any cover and for a variety of game. Heavy coat gives him protection for long exposure in icy water. Needs grooming, but does not need to be clipped like a poodle. Their unusual coat of crisp, tight, water-repellent curls lends .
